Major Achievements
Effectively dealt with a mirage of complex issues and engaged with a wide range of governmental and non-governmental partners, stakeholders and organizations who had diverse political and economic vested interests. The partners I interacted with include high-level policy makers, multi/bi-lateral development partners as well as private sector leaders. I was able to create allies with those who have diverse sometimes conflicting vested interests; generating positive dynamics among them; and strategically positioning the organization I represented for its enhanced influence and impact.
I led various multi-functional/inter-disciplinary thematic teams at global/regional/country levels from a small team of 15 staff located in a country office to a large team of 900 staff members located in 20 countries. Each time, I succeeded in strengthening the organizational performance, enlarging the portfolio in size and scope, widening the partnership base, and enhancing its influence and impact.
Through the experience and learning, I have become a solution-oriented leader with a high level of accountability and integrity who leads by example, and who can inspire others, foster collaboration, and provoke innovation.
